How can I use the export format type USDZ from the Tinkercad iPad app?

USDZ is a 3D file format that shows up as 3D or AR content on the native Tinkercad iOS app for iPads. Export this format from the Tinkercad iPad app, then send it to Mail, Messages, and other built-in iOS apps. 

To Export from the design detail page:

  1. Log in to Tinkercad.
  2. Click on any 3D design in your dashboard or in the public gallery to open that design's detail page.
  3. Click "Download".
  4. Choose the filetype "USDZ" to download.
  5. Next, choose where to save or send your your design. You may send it to a compatible iOS app, your iCloud Drive, to the local iPad storage.

To Export from within the 3D editor:

  1. Log in to Tinkercad.
  2. Open any 3D design in your dashboard by clicking "Tinker this" in the design's detail page. Alternately, for public designs in the Gallery, click "Copy and Tinker".
  3. At the top right of the editor, click "Export".
  4. Choose the filetype "USDZ" to download.
  5. Next, choose where to save or send your your design. You may send it to a compatible iOS app, your iCloud Drive, to the local iPad storage.
