I would like to be able to share a project with a partner so we can both work on it WITHOUT making it public. Is there a way to share a project directly with someone?

Christian Official comment We have a collaboration option which will work while keeping your design private. To generate a link for your partner to collaborate on your design:
1. Click "Share" in the editor on the top right hand side.
2. Click "Invite people".
3. Then, click "Generate new link" and Copy it to share with your collaborator. They will be able to edit inside the design with this link.

Cleared As a teacher, I would like to keep collaborating with a couple of students. But does the link expire?

Christian The link does expire after 2 weeks, at which point they can generate a new share link. We will add some more teacher tools over the summer to make this easier.

I am a teacher and I always have students submit their work as a link to collaborate so I can easily check their work before progressing. Two weeks wayyyyyyy too short of a time for projects that may be completed over the course or a quarter or semester. If it is possible to extend that limit or have an option to choose how long the link is good for, that would be incredibly helpful.

Cleared I would also like to be able to permanently share a design between two accounts. Not for teaching: just so my son can use his account & PC to create the design, and I can then access it to clean it up for printing. Thanks.

You can currently do this as a moderator of your son's account. If you are already moderating his account, click under your avatar to access the "Moderate Kids" page, where you can click into your moderated kids dashboard to open, edit, export their designs.
