Hi. I'm tinkering someone's existing design and want to remove some holes. I can't ungroup the design. Should I fill the holes with a cylinder?
Thanks

If an object is ungroupable to get to its individual pieces, then it was likely imported. You can fill in gaps with solid objects then group with the original to make them one.
When I group a cylinder to fill a round hole it creates a thin rim cutout instead of just filling it. Not sure what I'm doing wrong here. Frustratingly difficult to find anything regarding filling holes in tinkercad (google search led me here on the first page of results, for example).
Here's what happens when I try:
You can have the cylinder overlap the model around the perimeter, then group it and it will be solid. If the cylinder is the same radius as the hole, it still may leave this trace, since the edges probaby don't match.
