Is it possible to create a different "code" or class if I want to use Tinkercad with multiple classes? That way the students are organized in groups. Thanks!

Permanently deleted user I'd suggest you create different teacher's account and then use different code to link them in groups. :)

Shelley Jenkinson Hi Tinkercad
Would be great if you could include feature where kids could be organised into classes within one teacher account. If create separate accounts, teachers have to keep track of different codes and log in and out of accounts - just isn't enough time to do this with different classes rolling in and out of the computer lab with no break in between.

wmeymarian I completely agree with Shelley! This is how it is with Google Classrooms, ClassDojo, etc. So I honestly expected there was this function within Tinkercad. In the end, I do a ctrl+f to find the name of the student I need.
On a side note, I am loving Tinkercad. I am using it with my 3rd graders and they are designing bubble wands. So much fun! :) Now excuse me...I have 50+ bubble wands left to print!

Christian Thanks for the feedback...we're commited to making teachers' jobs easier.
How does this sound: One teacher can generate a code for many students. Then, once students enter that code, they are moderated by the teacher, who can organize those students into groups in the moderation tools on tinkercad.com?

wmeymarian If there can already be the option to first create a class, and each class can have a unique code, that would be easier than later trying to sort and organize them into classes.
Also, if you have the option to integrate Tinkercad with Google accounts, that would be awesome! Many schools have Google Education accounts (we are one such school) and use Google for all our email and student emails/logins. That way, students won't need a separate login.

Kelsey Whelan I would love to see a setup similar to code.org - you can create a class, generate a code for that class only and give it to students for them to join. You can add students manually as well and change their passwords for them!
