What happened to the schematic view that was available in circuits.io? Is that ever going to be accessible in tinkercad? If not, it really limits the use of this platform as a teaching tool.

Permanently deleted user Official comment It was decided not to carry over the schematic editor from circuits.io to Tinkercad for several reasons, mostly due to simplifying for younger (or less-experienced) audiences (also because the auto-routing of nets was not consistent and sometimes confusing). We are in process of adding export to Eagle schematic, which will enable what you are looking for.

Ann Peeters 289 Hey all,
I agree. Where is the schematics view?
I'm doing introductory courses (university college level) to get all the students on the same page. A schematic view would really be helpful. The advantage of doing it here is that all is on the same page. Otherwise it's back to Fritzing for me...

Cleared Hi everyone,
I agree too. Autodesk says that it is to keep it simple that they removed the schematic and pcb section but isn't it too simple now? By the way it would be interesting to have an option to show the name of the parts, at least while the mouse is over it!
Thank you anyway for a great start!
Have a good one everyone!

Cleared Folks,
I am using Tinker Circuit and Eagle with my high school engineering classes. I appreciate the programs as a learning tool. I wondered can you provide the data sheets or part numbers that you use in the Tinker Circuit so I can buy physical components that my students can populate the board with.
Thanks In Advance,
Tom

Cleared Please, please, please include the schematic view, as a beginner it would be absolutely invaluable to check that the breadboard construction really is equivalent to the intended circuit design and as a teaching tool, I would find it incredibly useful to be able to jump between the two views in the same application. Love everything else about it though and the fact that it is free is incredible and for that I am extremely grateful!

Cleared Is it possible to have the option to enable a circuit schematic view?
As a teaching tool, it is really necessary to have the wiring diagram be turned into a schematic diagram.
I was going to use TinkerCad to teach my next electronics course, but now I may have to use Fritzing.
