A way to allow us to name and save Custom Grids could be handy.
Also possibly the ability to change the grid spacing as part of the grid definition, or when we change the Snap level.

Grid spacing when changing snap levels is interesting for some of the increments. What would you expect to see on a .1mm snap increment?
I can see how custom grids can be an interesting thing to keep. What would you store? Because they are located based on an existing face. What happens if the object that defined its position has changed or been deleted?
I THINK what Glenn is asking for is along the lines of what I requested in one the postings from the GetSatisfaction site that has now been lost. That is, the ability to define your own "custom" grid spacing and the additional option to add a custom spacing to the set shown in the Snap Grid popup.. This would be a user-specific property that could be overridden in a specific drawing (using Property Manager scoping as has been discussed).

Pretty sure I was thinking something.
My thought only went as far as what happens when you click "Edit Grid". You can define a "Custom" setting, but not save it under its own name.Multiple named custom settings, as well as the ability to manage the predefined settings.
Then I thought make grid spacing part of the Edit Grid process.
Ok. I was overthinking. I did already get that one (keep custom workplanes somewhere).
Keeping a custom grid and keeping it can make sense. I assume as a user property that applies to any design you create.
Just to follow up with this, has this been added yet? ("Edit Grid" Custom slots) If not, will it be added anytime soon?
We have not added it yet. It is in our backlog, and we have higher priorities ahead of the school year. We may add it later in the year, but not anytime soon.
Just checking on the ability to save custom grid sizes. My printer, Zaribo 320 ( same as a PRUSA) uses a 250mm x 210mm grid size. Thanks
Yeah, it would be great to set the Default to my size build platform. I have a Flashforge Creator Pro, which is 226mm x 145mm. I need to reset the Grid Properties every time I create a new project...
