Where can I get information of how to use the Adjust >> Align tool_

You need to select all the objects you need to align before going to the command. Then you'll see some helpers in the screen. If you move the mouse over them, you'll be able to undertsand what they do (align to center or edges). As soon as you are ready, click on the one you want, and you are done.
