So far I have managed to succeed in converting files from Tinkercad through the Makerbot Replicator program and have sent them to print on my Makerbot Replicator 2x. Thank you for your help to everyone who has been so quick to respond with great advice! Now I have a new query: several of my students have created designs in apps like Tinkerplay and Creationist 3D on their ipads. What is the best path for me to take to get their designs into Thingiverse or another similar website and into stl code so my computer's Makerbot program can send it to print?

Permanently deleted user Hi Hillary,
I can answer for Tinkerplay. Once you put the parts in the tray (you can check the tutorial for that), you will also see different targets. One of them is Makerbot. You can also send files to Dropbox or Google Drive, and from there you can do the same process you've been doing.

Permanently deleted user From which app? In Tinkerplay, you can set up the target in the app. On Tinkercad, for now we need to download the STL and then you can upload it to the service you like.

Permanently deleted user If you download from Tinkercad directly into a folder that is already set up to automatically sync to your cloud service, the process is pretty easy and seamless.
