I know how to rotate an object on the work surface. However is it possible to edit the actual number of degrees I want to rotate? TC seems to jump to presets of 22.5/45/90 degrees and I can't figure out how I might rorate by a specific number of degrees.

Permanently deleted user You can't enter a specific number. If you move your pointer outside the rotation circle, you can rotate by 1 degree at a time.

Permanently deleted user Okay, thanks. I hadn't realised the 1 degree option. Would be a nice enhancement if it were possible to edit the rotation value.

Cleared It would also be helpful to be able to rotate an object a fraction of a degree as well.

Cleared Anyway it doesn't work at all for me

Permanently deleted user Until the direct entry of rotational degrees is added, there is a trick/workaround that will let you rotate to 0.5 degree accuracy.
As mentioned, the inner rotation ring will rotate in 22.5 degree steps, the outer ring in 1 degree steps.
So it is simply a matter of rotating by 22.5 degrees first, then by 1 degree steps until you get the value you want.
For example, to rotate 15.5 degrees, rotate 22.5 degrees, then back 7 degrees:

paulo bettencas Hi, is it possible to change the rotation axis? for example to rotate from a corner instead the middle of the piece

Christian We've added this capability in our new Codeblocks editor. You can use the rotate block to rotate around a specific vector.

paulo bettencas It would nice to have it on the main app. Thanks
