These are just a few 6th grade models that students created for their animal & plant cell projects. As an Ed Tech Specialist, I had the opportunity to teach Tinkercad to several science classes and then they were turned loose to create a complete cell of their choice. Some of the best examples were selected for printing, which was done on a Makerbot Replicator 2X, with an average print time between 5-6 hours. The students still need to color code the organelles with markers or paint.
