Is there a way to import a 2d image to use as a reference for modeling? for example, say I have a floor plan of a house, and I want to make a 3d model of it. is there a way to have the floor plan picture appear on the work space, so I can place squares and such over it?

Permanently deleted user Official comment If you just need a base image for proportions, you can use the image generator (in Shape Generators) to create a relief image from a jpg.
rootyjr is right, though - the .svg import is a great option if you have the line drawing.

Cleared I think TinkerCAD removed the Image Generator feature from Shape Generators. :( I hope they restore it sometime soon because it is a really neat feature!
