These objects are aligned properly. While it may not look like it, the distance from the back of the flat part of the pentagon to the cylinder bounds is the same as the distance from the front point of the pentagon to the cylinder bounds
I have downloaded the STL and print it using my MK3 and its not aligned.
something is wrong with they way tinkercad is calculating the center of polygon
the problem exists only in odd number sides polygon. see image.
tinkercad thinks of the polygon as sitting inside a cube and centers that cube to the cylinder you are thinking of the polygon that is circumcircled hence the difference. i havent found a solution to this problem apart from moving the pentagon into its place with the arrow keys and forgiving the inacuracy.
I am facing the same issue. Is there a solution to this problem?
