ESP8266 WiFi raw udp and tcp packets filtered??

Excuse me if this is  a repost, I tried with the forums and nothing came out.

I'm doing some testing with the network emulator functionality of Arduino UNO + ESP8266 WiFi to send packets to my own servers.

After some testing, I noticed that the emulator does not pass every UDP/TCP packet transparently, but HTTP GET packets do actually reach their destination.

This suggests that there is some kind of HTTP Proxy in front of the emulator.

It seems that the (I'm guessing) HTTP proxy filters uplink HTTP Posts.

My question:

Is there any documentation regarding the behaviour of ESP8266 WiFI emulator and/or actual network connectivity of the simulator to the internet?

Do I need something special in my sketch code to make HTTP Posts work?

Thank you very much.

Best Regards,
