I have two students who are trying to join my class and when they enter their nickname it tells them something went wrong. I deleted them from the class and then re-entered their name and gave them a new nickname and the samething is happening. They are using district issued chromebooks. Please advise.

Wayne Losey Official comment We released an update to the Classroom tool this week that may have solved the issue. Its worth trying to have them log-in again using the current nicknames, etc.
One issue that can happen is that teachers and students sometimes enter unseen spaces during creation or while logging in. Maybe double check to see if there are any spaces at the beginning of the name or nickname.
I would also suggest trying to clear your 'Images and Files' browser cache as well as the students, if possible. The option can be found in the 'More tools' section of Google Chrome.
